Pia De Simone got a degree certificate in Classics (Hebrew language) in 2005 at the Catholic University, Milan, with her thesis “Il racconto della resurrezione di Gesù nel Vangelo di Pietro alla luce delle credenze del Giudaismo nel periodo del Secondo Tempio” (eng. “The narration of Jesus’ resurrection from the Gospel according to Peter with reference to the beliefs of Second Temple Judaism”).

Currently she works on her PhD thesis in Classical Philology about “The acknowledgement of Jesus’ resurrection in pagan culture of the early centuries” at the University of Salerno.
